Nope because the bolt spacings are wrong on the caliper carriers, the only good brake upgrade on the S2 is the tried and trusted method of Porsche caliper's
It was a bit of a long shot, I know, but thought it was worth asking as I have a pair of said calipers in the garage...looks like it's the Porsche route it is then...
Which is the easiest/cheapest option? 993/996/Cayenne/Boxster?
Past: S2 ABY coupe RS2 spec with lots of mods, S4 B5 saloon, RS6 C5 saloon, S8 D2 FL, RS4 B7 saloon, S4 B6 avant
I would suggest selling the RS4 caliper's to an S4 owner with the suitable bolt spacing.
The most cost effective (we don't do cheap ) route is the 996 monoblock route, looking at your sig I assume your S2 has the stock 16" Avus wheel, which would dictate you to go the 314mm diameter disc route, the better option is the 323mm diameter but this would mean swapping to 17" wheels, either disc is a good upgrade but obviously the bigger diameter disc is better and I am just showing you your options if you were considering larger wheels at some point.
Just another thought - is it not possible to use a customised caliper mounting bracket to accommodate?
Perfectly possible.
Just find yourself a decent engineering shop. Take the whole caboodle to them (hub carrier, caliper, brake disk etc....and get them to machine a pair up for you to suit
Is there anyone eslse who fancies slagging off my brakes? I'll start a new thread for it if you like...
My apologies for going for something a bit different. My point was to show what could be done with OE parts. I didn't realise I was going to be frowned upon because I don't use second hand porsche bits to slow my car down
I best keep my rear brake setup a secret as that wasn't sourced from the set of scrap heap challenge either.
