Thanks for the link JamoOriginally posted by JamoUse RS6 calipers http://www.s2forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=15713
@s2avant - as the RS6 calipers are the same hub fitment as the B5 RS4 (both calipers bolt straight onto my S4), does it follow that this modified caliper mounting bracket would also accommodate the RS4 B5 calipers? or am I missing something here, or simply being thick...?

Thanks CoreyOriginally posted by Coreylooking at your sig I assume your S2 has the stock 16" Avus wheel, which would dictate you to go the 314mm diameter disc route, the better option is the 323mm diameter but this would mean swapping to 17" wheels, either disc is a good upgrade but obviously the bigger diameter disc is better and I am just showing you your options if you were considering larger wheels at some point.
Yes, I still have the stock 16" Avus wheels, but I have the MTM bimoto 18" reps (ET35) on the S4 and still have the S4 B6 18s (ET45) in the cupboard for a rainy day
dont tell the Mrs...
So I do have some options as regards wheels, but that will be the subject of another thread...Past: S2 ABY coupe RS2 spec with lots of mods, S4 B5 saloon, RS6 C5 saloon, S8 D2 FL, RS4 B7 saloon, S4 B6 avant

I'll start a new thread for it if you like...
My apologies for going for something a bit different. My point was to show what could be done with OE parts. I didn't realise I was going to be frowned upon because I don't use second hand porsche bits to slow my car down
I best keep my rear brake setup a secret as that wasn't sourced from the set of scrap heap challenge either.

Clive,
I don't think you will be able to do it the same way we did with mine as the RS6 caliper has a removable bracket which we reversed. On the B5 RS4 the caliper bracket is also the pad carrier so you couldn't fit it backwards.
The problem you will have is making a bracket to go in between the hub and the carrier as they will be in almost the same place. If it can be done I'm sure Bry and the other brake fairies can come up with a bracket.

Iain, no. There is no point running a bigger disc if you can't move the caliper out to take advantage of the larger disc.
The caliper location on an urS6 HP2 is designed to locate on an 314mm diameter disc. You want some 6 pot Cayenne caliper's with 322x32 discs
