    RS2: Help with ABS warning light and error code

    I've been getting an intermittent ABS warning on the RS2. My mechanic found the following fault code logged:

    00649 - ABS Inlet/Outlet Valve; Rear (N160)
    35-10 --- Intermittent

    Can anyone decipher this fault code for me? Thanks!

    Found this, from S2central.

    00649 Rear I/O Valve (N160)

    - Open circuit in wiring. Short to +ve or ground between electro-hydraulic unit (N55) and ABS controller (J104) - Trace and repair wiring

    - Right front ABS inlet/outlet valve (N160) is faulty. - Check N55 & test with VAG1710
