Mot advisory rusty bomb

Put the coupe in for MOT .today ,2 issues , brake bomb rusty ,and fuel pipe from tank to filter . How much of a problem to fix theses issues . I assume it’s a new bomb if available ,or can they be refurbished.

The bomb has extremely thick metal and is very durable. If you haven't got a brake warning, give it a wire brush and treat the rust then re paint.
The fuel line is a little more difficult as i think they are nla. Can be made up with cunifer pipe. I have seen aftermarket ones on fleabay.

I think that's the fuel pipe that is plastic on the 3B?

I re-used the original ends and some generic plastic fuel pipe, was quite easy IIRC.
You warm the pipe in boiling water (or use a paint stripper gun carefully) and push the ends in?

I can't remember but I think you'll need to drain the tank..
