    Inconsistent brake feel

Fitted my brake conversion, porker 996s,314 A8 discs and all the other required stuff.
Have bled through at least 3 or 4 times using ATE super blue, but still getting a inconsistent brake pedal feel, and at present, not that impressed with the conversion.
There has to something not quite right because of the 996's usually get.
sometimes the brake can be hard and really pull the car up well, other times(most) the word cr*p springs to mind.softer pedal and a lot less braking force.
Bomb seems to be reasonably healthy.Get the(!) after a few days of non use
With a healthy system the brake pedal should remain constant.

    Any help be much appreciated

Have you tried bleeding the system with the ignition on as well. Was advised this was a good trick due to the abs

Also, what bleed kit are you using? I found the Ezibleed system to work well

    Cheers,

    Brian

hmm, i did my ezibleed engine off, did the normal order of corners and the clutch and brake pedal was as solid as a rock

You did do the bleed with the handbrake off too right?

I found that the monos took a good while to bleed all the air out when i first changed.

I'd also expect you to need to drive it a bit first to get the pads to bed in and the initial face of the discs nicely swept too.

i have found before that a good flush and bleed to begin with, then go out and trigger the ABS a couple of times, then have another bleed - normally improves pedal feel.
seems strange its ok one minute and dodgy the next

Well I will try triggering the abs and then bleed engine off,I must have run 3 litres or more fluid through the system already,I would be very surprised if there is air in it still.
Thats why i am thinging something else is knackered on the system.

Continuing the blooming subject of my brakes,an update.
Have been bleeding the hell out of the system, still getting small bits of air out, other day just bled the fronts and in frustration gave the bomb a tap(don't ask me why),all of a sudden the brakes worked brilliantly
Over next few days, car not driven regularly, brakes got worse again.
Am now getting (!) when pressing brake hard with engine running, dissapears when engine revved for a bit.
                Changed out MC,thanks Alex(error404)
                Is it just the bomb
