    GT2 6 pots with 345mm S8 disks - do-able?

Can't find much information on the hat height of the larger S8 disks or the disk thickness used in the GT2 6 pots.
18s and custom carriers required without a doubt, Has this been done?

not aware of that combination being done but the disc width is likely 34...

Be interested the know the weight difference on the phaeton disc versus the S8, the S8 brembo disc (oem) weighs a fudukin ton

Apart from the increase in diameter, the 345mm discs have the same total height as the 314/323 discs. I believe the dimension is 59.5mm.

lol this is exactly what i was planning to do only with the cayenne caliper lol, think it may JUST fut under some big 17"s also not aware of it being done before tho. i know correy has made some carries compatable with the phaeton discs i think it was.

dont know about the gt2 but i know the cayenna 6 pots are designed for a 350 disc so wouldn't surprise me if the gt2 calipers are the same layout.

They are indeed the same as the 314 and 323 discs. The disc width is also the same (30mm I think). I have them on my car.

Cayenne calipers will fit under most 17s if you use a 330mm disc!

Does this mean they will fit as standard with the 996 callipers?

from what i can tell, the caliper should match up as the diameter is close enough, the thickness is close enough, i assume the pad contact width (if thats its name) will be ok, so the only problem is the carrier, which isnt that big of a problem really, you would need to do something with the rear brakes though!

brackets would be custom anyway, and if i did go this route the rears would be looked at too.....
