the part number I think is 0986426681. I looked on the site and brake pads for the car aren't listed! that's reassuring! they're probably cardboard....

comments? well, i've not herrd much about bosch pads being particularly special, in fact i've not heard anything about them at all! So why bother paying for the name?
G&S offer textar pads for £35 a set (textar make the OEM pads - saw them in the porsche dealership!) or pagid blues geta a good review from the prosche forums I seem to temember. £60 from www.911design

I paid £150 for my DS2500 (FRP3051) from the main importers (circuit supplies) - like lee had no luck in obtaining a discount!
Yeah i can usuall dredge something up from the web with a partnumber but seems there is no reference at all, even from a porche forum/site like pelican etc.
Dont worry, i am having the same problems locating info about the ferrodo pads from these brembo's. If i turn anything up i'll pm you on those bosch items tho!
Thanks alistair and David. I wasn't thinking of them as some wonder pad just a 'known name'. I don't want a track day pad but something which bites from cold doesn't fade within seconds and isn't an arm and a leg. DS2500 although not cheap lasts well, is clean and bites well. I will check the sites now that alistair has given me the number!
My local motor factor (Trade) has the Bosch pads.
What is the score with the pad backing/anti sqeual kits. Are they a dealer only item?
Thanks David, they seem the same size. Unfortunately the pads are used and crazed ( looking at the photos). I have read from Bira they produce horrible diust but thanks for thinking of me.
