  • Porsche 993 Turbo rear brake disk on rear of a Audi RS2?!

Hello, I have a question, do you know if is possible mount the rear 322x28 mm brake disk original from Porsche 993 Turbo on the rear axle of the Audi RS2? I already know that I must change also the calipers, but my problem is the internal and external measures of Porsche 993 Turbo rear brake disk and Audi RS2 rear brake disk. Thanks a lot! Bye

I my opinion the brake pistons will be to big for the rear and you would have to have gigantic front brakes for this setup. This would kill your brake balance.

On front of my RS2 I have the big reds with 322x32 mm brake disk, Porsche 993 Turbo have 322x32 mm brake disk on front and 322x28 mm brake disk on rear, I know that normally front brake disk are bigger that rear.

Not only disks but also the pistons in the calliper

          Front 322 x 32 disk

          Piston 1: 44 mm
          Piston 2: 44 mm
          Piston 3: 36 mm
          Piston 4: 36 mm

          Rear RS2 disk 299mm

          Piston 1: 24 mm
          Piston 2: 24 mm
          Piston 3: 26.5 mm
          Piston 4: 26.5 mm

Can you see the difference ?

Do you have the specs for a 993 rear disc? I'm planning to go with the 996 carrera rear calipers sometime in the future and it would look great if the 993 rear disc would fit.

              rs2 has rear disk 299 x 28

but I'm using 5 x 112 S4 300 x 22 mm rear disk for standard S2 bolt pattern and it also works. I had that for a while.
