Well all I was saying is that none of it added up. First he didn't put it on the auction (just left it at 42). Then he said 421. Then he said 429 and 439.

None of it made sense so I didn't buy them. You're probably not going to know until they arrive.. if they're the right ones then well done. If not then open a dispute.

Yeah if they are then your going to have to find someone you can trust to make the caliper brackets. AndyP might be able to

must say i always thought the gt3 caliper was similar in shape to my gt2 6 pots. those are not.

hard to tell from the picture. the 4 pot rears from the gt2 are as big as most porsche front 4 pots too. just not as wide for the disc.

they look like rears to me.

it is a custom bracket yes. the spacing is different for the boltholes. i still use rs bolts etc with them IIRC.

you also need the pad fitting kit. you can get a toureg one easily. thats what i use. its the retainers and bolts.

just found this post with part no.s 996351429 and 430 and looking at them they seem to be identical to the ones in the ebay add:-

                          piston size 33mm and 40mm
                          radial mounting 141mm

Sorry to bring the old post back, but what was the end outcome with these calipers, what was the part no.
I have bought pair of these with pn. 996.351.430 and 429 I was told that these come from 997 C4. The calipers are very good looking and a bit bigger then boxter s. The spacing is bigger then rs2 bracket and I think I gona flog them on fleebay.
                              Cheers

Can use these with 330 or 345mm discs. Will @ VRS may be able to help with carriers. As you say, these are larger than the usual 996 425 426 upgrade and so have more pad area.
