As per the title, ive done a search but cant find it.
Can someone give me the number for the two rs2 hardlines for the 996 front brake swap? either that or the goodridge hose equivalent
Thanks
Gav
The RS2 hardline idea is a crap one IMHO, they don't even fit corectly as pointed out. I originally made my own hardlines, 400mm of tube with 2 male M10x1.0 fittings IIRC. The next time I had to get the brake disk off I went back to flexi hoses.
I made my own out of copper. If the caliper needs to be moved to replace disks it can be. Plus it cost about 4p to make
I had all the parts on the shelf to make the hardlines. Just because it's cheap doesn't mean it's good.
When I had to change a wheel bearing, that was the final straw. The hardlines had to go. I don't fancy metal fatigue on my brake lines, thanks.
speak to I think its merlin motorsports (the race place in combe that does all the silencers etc.) as they have the specs of the lines from other forum members and iirc are quite cheap.
