RS2 Genuine Rear Drilled Discs, are they bigger?

I asked my Audi Parts man, if the drilled discs availible for the rear of my car were the same size as the discs on my rs2. He said that they were bigger?

Does this mean there are different carriers needed from Audi, or have I got everythng wrong?

I have ordered complete handbrake cables, handbrake, bomb, internals etc etc, so i want to get it all done at the same time.

Where is the best (cheapest place) to buy rear shoes (non performance obviously) and fast road pads fro front and rear.

I will be upgrading to BIG REDS or 993 Turbo Front Discs and calipers (if they fit stock 17" Cup Alloys)

Any comments lads, i want my car sorted for GTI International!

rear drilled disc are the same size as the non drilled
    NO size differences 100% sure

BigReds do fit on "17 original alloys 100% sure (then you can't anymore fit "16 alloys with 205/55/16 winter tyres though)

I have the factory upgrade on mine, the Big Red 322mm discs and calipers which do fit in the stock CUP 1 wheels, not really sure where you can source the discs the cheapest though...I have seen some on Ebay but they still command big money.

If you want buy the original Audi complete set the best place is eBay, I have buy mine on eBay 3 years ago, but not on eBay directly but out of eBay, if you want I can ask to my German dealer where I have bought mine set 3 years ago the best price that he can make out of eBay for me.

I have just collected from Audi Main Dealer, a couple of handbrake cables, new bomb, new disc 'hat' internals, so im ordering some RS2 Genuine Rear Drilled Discs tomorrow along with a set of shoes. I cant be ar**d to fanny about matching rear discs up, but im gonna order some new Calipers soon.

What do I need to fit 993 Turbo front Calipers & discs? Do I need brackets? Then again, big reds may be a hell of a lot easier!

Hello, for mount the 993 Turbo front calipers and discs you don't need brackets if you have a original RS2, on the front the brackets for 304 mm calipers or 322 mm calipers are the same. Why do you want change the rear calipers? You can refurb it, here there is GT500 that make a very good refurb, I must send also my rear calipers of my RS2.

So if I bolt 993 Twin Turbo front calipers on, they will go stait on......and what discs should I use.....I want Drilled Discs (A must, as they look awesome)

Is 993 Twin Turbo Calipers a better option than the RS2 Big Reds? More Power?

Here is my monoblock upgrade on my rs2

If you want to use the oem Rs2 caliper holder in front you have to mill 1,2mm
off cause the offset on the discs.
I made my own bracets the oem looks very poor/tiny.

How much exactly is required? is that 1-2mm or 1.2mm?
