The vanes on disc looked correct though they should cut through the air, the grooves, even how they are, should still deglaze the pads.
So I should swap the discs over to the other side then, you reckon? They are marked 'R' and 'L' but maybe that was done by someone standing at the front of the car

*shrug* much better than standard wet carboard, any way you put em on though...

          Did I miss something here?

Are your discs fitted on the wrong side Paul? (in that pic)

Corey - I have the 330mm AP kit for the S2 - I thought I made sure the vents were aiming the correct way - as the grooves don't really matter. I don't have my instructions to hand or remember what way round they were supposed to be.

Well, according to this, mine are on the right way. Seems a bit weird having the grooves running that way, but who am I to argue *shrug*

Dave, you'd end up killing yourself mate on them crazy country lanes in a RWD car! You made the S4 handle like a much smaller car, but have to admit, you're driving to the cars limits, so maybe something faster is for you - I'd suggest 4WD though! What about another Cossy? I saw a 500hp Texaco ex works job (though that was 2WD - oops) up for sale a few months ago for about 7.5k, if you don't mind rebuilds every time you've been down the shops!

Oh yeah, thanks again for the brakes Those pads (DS2500 ferodo) are a bit dead when cold, but once they've warmed a little the bite is nice. Not stamped on 'em in anger yet - not needed to, but it's reassuring to know they're there

Hey! Let's be careful out there! Give my best to your family btw, and enjoy the sun tommorrow - Cornwall must be gorgeous when it's the hottest day of the year (as supposed to be tommorrow). I'll be in bed, recovering from a night shift! (Or is that, ***** shift? )

              Cheers, Paul
