Ferodo DS2500 is the answer, without doubt.
I went from EBC Redstuffs that were scary bad to the Ferodos that are scary powerful. Night and day is an understatement.

www.raceshopper.com is probably cheapest, but perhaps not after import tax, etc.

I havent tried ferodos, but i can voutch for good old textars. I have been using them all the time and very happy with them.No squeeks and no problems. They tend to get the wheels dirty often, but which pads dont?

textars is crap! mine was fading after 5laps and i brake on the right way..

i am going to run carbotech xp10 in front and carbotech xp8 @ rear,

but most importatnt, fix better cooling than oem plastic thingy on the controlarm, i am going to connect a hose to my air inlet in the frontbumper.

One thing i've learned we are way behind the Scandinavians!

i have only used them on Nurburgring for 4 laps and never again in a track,so my experience for track use is limited. Besides , he asked about road use,not track use

The DS2500s are the tried and tested all rounders although GT500 Rob does strongly favour some others that i cant recall atm (pm him and ask if he doesnt reply here)

I seem to recall that he used some SBS pads (Scandinavian Braking Systems)?

Pagid RS-19's or whatever the replacement is now (RS-22?) are brilliant. Using these with my standard G60's calipers and they don't even fade with those, on track. Lindahl, have heard brilliant things about Carbotech too.

So definitely pretty good then? How they compare to the Pagids? Almost bought a set instead of the RS-19's given the price alone.

many beemers in sweden running carbotechs with good results( and again, brake cooling!), they scream a little when they´re cold, but has normal braking power, when they´re warm, brake and it feels like hit a wall

Yup, Pagid RS29. I'm on my second set. Expensive but very long life for both discs and pads and massive performance. They can occasionally make a squeek if you;ve not thrashed em for a while but a quick blast sorts them out.

Whats the dreaded brake dust like on any of these pads?

from what ive seen ebc are the best for no dust but many have issues.

reds are pretty poor in when cold it must be said. when hot they stop. i run them on the 6 pots. at the time they were over £100 cheaper than ds2500's.

id go ds2500 next i think. if they are less than 200 a set.
