Help me please. I am in the bidding process for these things. What if I got them? What disc? What pads would I need? Or should I buy some decent grooved or drilled discs? But where? I am fed up with my present deceleration abilities.

Horvath, From the first photo it looks as though the calipers are rear Porsce units. The disk is not cross drilled. The standard caliper on the RS2 runs on 304 x 32mm disks.
If you use the RS2 caliper bracket with modern ( and better) porsche monoblocks then the disk size that is correct is 314MM x 28 but 30mm will fit in with a bit of filing of the pad posts.
If the calipers are Porsche 993 TT ( Big reds) then these are the same as the RS2 special option bigger brakes. The disk size is then 323 x 32 mm.
I hope this is not too confusing.
My suggestion:
Buy Porsche 996 monoblocks or Boxter S rear calipers which are the same. Get RS2 caliper brackets and use Audi A8 314 x 30mm disks which are cheap. Get grooved if you wish. Standard pads from Porsche or aftermarket Textar ones.
Easy and not silly money.
The split calipers ( bolts holding them together) have problems. Do yourself a favour and use a more modern caliper.

David,
you are a real lexicon. I'm gonna ask the seller guy what these are. He advertised them as front ones. Its easy when the buyer is an amateur like me. Your advice is acknowledged greatfully (gratefully hmmm one of these are correct I hope).
cheers

The above mentioned brakes are 360 euros at this moment. How much should one pay for this pleasure? Anybody wants to sell me a set of usable brakes that works with some audi disc?

Horvath, a pair of the calipers are about £200 + VAT, the mounting brackets are about £100.
pads and bits and bobs should come to another £100, disks £60
So in theory if all goes well it could be about £500 for the conversion!
Once I have done mine, I will be able to tell you better. It's very soon now, I'm spending too long fixing the Mondeo at the moment though!

You will also need new brake lines, as the RS2 caliper has it's fluid feed further down the caliper body than the Girling units.
Either make up some custom braided hoses or buy the RS2 items.
