Been searching in the FA for the handbrake switch for ages and can't find it.
Its the one that turns on / off the dash warning light. I managed to destroy mine, need to replace it
Am I being blind? Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Cheers

Time to resurrect this thread from the past. Can anyone provide me with a picture or description of how the handbrake switch is assembled? In particular, I need to know where the tapered spring sits. From memory I thought it sat direct underneath the switch plunger
with the larger diameter end of the spring positioned at the bottom.
Searching around I've found a few poor diagrams and photos that appear to have it inside the body of the switch. Can anyone help with this please?
edit: I'm reasonably sure the spring should be inside with the larger end of the spring at the bottom. Can anyone confirm this for me please?
Here's a pic showing how I have it assembled just now. I think the blade terminal should be bent at an angle. Something isn't quite right as the switch prevents the handbrake lever from fully disengaging. I'm sure it's really straightforward and I'm over-thinking it.
