    you can´t wear the pad down, that way,so they must have been machined the wrong way or that fine drawing is totali crap?????.
    maybe you should contact an arkitekt next time, so the drawing wood be better next time.lol
    don´t where you live but if it where in denmark i could have made it for you,as i am a turner by trade.

      Hello again!,
      Just had another thought. You talk about a "lip" on the inside of the bracket.
      Could it be as simple as the brackets are handed, i.e. fit particular sides, rather than being universal. Looking at the AP caliper I have, the mounting pads are @5mm off the caliper. If the "lip" was on the outside of the caliper rather than the inside that would help wouldn't it. Did the original brackets have a lip?
      Just thinking aloud. Seems strange to machine a bracket with a lip, when it would have been just as easy to face it of square. I can't actually recall seing a bracket where the mounting face isn't flat. So it might be worth looking at that.
