Is this the wind back tool I need for rear caliper maintenance?

that would be a bit overkill for the job as it looks to have multiple plates for many caliper/piston sizes. Laser do a generic version for about £20 from memory which I have and does the job on all my cars
save yourself some money and buy that one i'd say.

Has anyone used the cheaper 'wind back cubes' ? which just fit on the end of a socket drive.. will they be any good on the S2 rear calipers?Comment

never seen those cubes before but looks a good idea for occasional use.Paul Nugent

i have one of these...i think you need the plat to help apply piston return force as well as windback...not sure how the cube will achieve that. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Brake-Piston...f=pd_sim_diy_2sigpic
