Has it left the steel of the nipple in the caliper? Or brought the thread out of the caliper with it? Or just snapped off?

If its left the steel thread of the nipple in the caliper then I would try and pick it out with a spike, like a scriber, at least until you can see the start of the thread. If you can get hold of the end of the thread with a pair of needle nose pliers maybe you can wind it anticlockwise and collapse it in.

I'm sure someone will be along to tell us what thread size it is, in the meantime if you can pick some of the thread out you'll have a start for the tap. Otherwise I'm always worried that I'll start in the wrong place and cut the alloy away and end with no thread at all..
