800 mm is each line but for fronts only ( I never did the rears so not sure about them).

The original drawing im my pervious link which I scribbled over was for 2 separate lines on the front and retaining the existing hard line on the strut, They are 300mm + 315mm and the part replacing the hard line on the front struts is in a loop close to 200mm. So 800mm overall including the fittings. This could probably be a bit less if the change in direction at the strut was a bit sharper.

For the rears (& fronts) you can check by taking a wheel off and running a string around the stock line route and measure the string. But remember the 996's connection is further down than the stock S2 callipers.

you may need to open out the chassis bracket ever so slightly but it will allow you to use the standard retaining methods
Would an alternative be some sort of brake line clip like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Brake-Line...item5ae31c1375

Fitted new brake lines on the rear recently and struggled to secure them into the original mounts so looking for a solution to this too.
