No, they wont fit under anything below 18" with 360mm discs

For 17" run the Merc 330mm disc or the A8 345mm machined down to about 340 mm

        Cool, cheers Jamo.

Does anyone know of anyone who supplies brackets for fitting these under 17's?

I run Cayenne turbo brakes with 345mm disc. Fits perfectly under BBS-E50 17".. can fit 360mm as well. So I guess it all depends on which rims your using

True but the calipers are designed for 330 mm disc you get pad overhang on bigger discs, what was your caliper to wheel clearance?
Seen a lot of brakes crammed into wheels with no space for thermal expansion

those 345x30 audi discs weigh a ton...worth noting for unsprung weight. There *may* be better equivalents from other manufacturers (seem to remember the original OEM is Brembo) but never did much more investigation. As Jamo says, pad overhang is definately an issue if cailper and disc are not matched...

Just checked the Merc discs are 345x32 which is a better match than the 360mm I still say you may have to tune them down to 340mm but if they fit and the clearances are good use them straight

Merc disc is ATE 132.0114 or Febi # 21950 they weigh 12 kg apparently so like S2driveruk says they must be as heavy as the 345x30 audi discs

I did a conversion on my S2 using the Merc discs and Audi A8 (1996)calipers.

Yes the disc are heavy but I think the advantages out weight the disadvantage of unsprung weight, which would be a problem on bumpy road surfaces.

After using the car a bit more on the road I remain very happy. Car has a more solid feel and brakes work great. Will be using the car on open track days and am confident that brakes will be great, with unlimited progressive stopping power. My logic says that the heavier weight means more capacity to soak up and dissipate heat.

Final decision will depend on the caliper pads matching the disc surface, offset of rims, and the height of the calipers over the disk Dia. The bigger dia of the disc, used with pads of a given size, the better the braking effect. The bigger the wheel dia. the less the braking effect. So idea is to maximize the dia of rotor in a given rim size.

One thing is essential....and that is a working ABS, as this brake set up will cause immediate lock up in an emergency crash stop.
                    Regards

360mm fits under 18rims.i had panamera calipers with 360mm under BBS LM 18 rims.
Currently running with cayenne turbo caliper and sized it down to 352mm fitted perfectly.
