S2 Drilled Rear Rotors? Worth it or pass?

So I'm on the search for new rotors/pads all around (first time I've had to replace). Searching for S2 5x112 hubs with 993tt big reds on CQ over here in the states is proving a joy.

Currently I've got drilled Porsche OEM rotor rings/custom hat on the front and solid stock S2 rotors on the back. Don't know what pads I have (shop is doing the work, no place for me to work on at the moment)

SO far I've concluded I'll need to order the 993tt rotors and swap hats. Part numbers 993 351 045 10 and 993 351 046 10 (cheapest @ $230/ea!) or could go with A8 solid rotors (4D0615301J at 1/3 cost). I know the drilling is more cosmetic than function... but damn they look nice.

In searching for the rear rotors I came along an A4 rotor 8E0 615 601 (A/B/P, P being the most current) solid rear that should match the 5x112, 245x10 30mm hat, BUT also located some Zimmermann Sport Cross Drilled 8E0 615 601 BSP.

Anyone have experience with these? Not cheap at ~$80 a side. All this sound right to those with similar setups? Returning wrong rotors won't be an option.

Nice write-up on QW I found too

That is my C4 UrS front brake options write-up.

For your rear brake issue, I asked my friend Kate, and she says:

    The 4 x 108 solid 245 x 10 rear rotor for a CQ or A80Q was 8A0615601.

On the same diagram, she says there is another rotor listed as a 8E0615601B which is 245 x 10mm. There is no info about the bolt circle.

When you ask her more about 8E0615601B she says that it was dropped on 01/05/2004 in favour of a 8E0615601P. When you ask about 8E0615601P she says that it is 245 x 10 and is 5/112 (good news) and that the 601P fits on the 2002-2005 Audi A4/Avant, the 2002-2005 Audi A4/S4/Avant quattro and the 2003-2007 Audi A4/S4 Cabrio/quattro.

However, when you check deeper, the solid 601P rotor is not for the B5 S4 at all. The B5 S4 uses 8E0615601R which is a 300 x 22 ventilated 5/112.

I am going to email a friend (Keegan B) (koupecrazy) to see what he is running on his AAN-equipped CQ. Somehow I think it is UrS4 273 x 22 ventilated. (BUT I need to confirm this).

        Pass.

They are eye candy, so your choice. I had a pair but the drill holes go rusty and look worse in my opinion.
