  • RS2: First time replacing discs and pads myself..ever.

    Hi all.

I plan on replacing the discs and pads on my RS2 this weekend.
Just the fronts. I collected my OEM discs from Porsche and I am using Ferodo pads.

Do I need to bleed the system? It was done not even 2000km ago.
I have never ever worked on brakes before, apart from repairing my ABS issues on my B5.

If it seems too complicated i'll take it to a shop.

    Hi

With RS2 brakes its good to remove the pad sliding plates at either end of the calipers and clean behind and replace or refit as they are prone to corrosion behind them which stops the pad from sliding freely

The small hex bolts that hold these are a bitch to remove
