Any interest in UrS4 rear brake adapters for 310x22 discs

No, he discs are single part, cheapest ones from ebay.de, 2 pcs incl shipping 80e .

There will be UrS4/S6 interest on this side of the pond if the discs can be readily and easily sourced. What is the original application of the 310 x 22 discs? PN ?

Asked my friend Kate about US-delivery 2007 A8Q's and she says there is a 310 x 22 rear disc with PN 4E0615601K (thanks).

What's caliper clearance like with the wheel now that you've moved the calliper out 15-20mm? Would some larger hat height discs not be better?

Edit: can't see much suitable in 22mm thick at that diameter

This is my concern too. I would need to know that the revised rear brake caliper/rotors would still permit the use of the UrS4 five spoke FUCHS and/or the 6 spoke UrS Avus.

If you look at the stock discs on urs4/6, they are so deep in that you need binoculars to see them behind the wheels. I don't think 15-20mm gona be an issue.

Havn't think about it yet. Depends also on the price of the bolts, would like to do a kit that includes everyhting you need for the mod.

Can you humour us and try a 16" Fuchs wheel over the prototype bracket and caliper? If it works without clearance issues, there will be lots of interest over here (Canada and the US of A).

I look't at he Phaeton calipers, but they can be hard to fit on UrS4. At least the hand brake cables fitts in wrong direction and there isn't much play in them.

BTW what is the piston size in the Phaeton calipers?

The handbrake pulls sideways like the URs4/6 calipers:



The mounting bolt spacing is much wider though, but still only a bracket required to fit them.


IIRC its a 43mm piston, I will check later. The caliper is much larger than the URs4/6 ones though
