A parts list would be really interesting. Would you be able to provide a brake down (cough) of what you bought?

What are you pairing these with up front?

You'll almost certainly need to adjust the brake bias!

so you re-use the normal coupé brakehose with the nipple in the Porsche calipers?

He shouldn't need to if he's running 996 fronts as well like johnb has on his coupe I have Porsche Cayenne 6 pots up front instead of 996 turbo 4 pots mine stops very well it doesn't nose dive or lock back up As well as doing emergency stop with my mate in it

I have 996 turbo up front. I pm'd John and he told me that i don't have to adjust the bias as his set up works fine and i will be using the smaller caliper from the 986 boxster as he has.

Alex do you mean the smaller of the lines will be to short ? I already have Hel up front so the middle pair of the set will be used if the other pair are to short.

I have stock calipers with 314mm rears and it's too rear-biased.

That doesn't mean that your setup will be, as they're completely different but still, you're hugely upgrading the rear brakes, so just make sure you're careful, especially in the wet, which is where my brakes are too much.

My issues were mainly on track, which isn't where you'll use yours but also under emergency braking scenarios.

There's also the issue to getting heat in to the front pads (depending on what you use) but this will be different again on yours as the pads will be a similar size and mass.

Overall, not really much to take from all that but as long as you take the note of my words of caution, you'll be laughing.
