Some Brake Upgrade for the S2

    Hello,
a few months ago somebody has asked me whether I am able here to do some information about my braking conversions that I have done. I will start with the last conversion that I made.
The car from these conversion is the S2 Avant. For the S2 Coupe the conversion did also match.
These parts used for the conversion:
RS3 4-Pot Brake calipers with pads (New Version)
RS3 370x32 Brake Discs (Centre hole machined)
    RS2 Brake Line
    Audi Original Bolts
Bracket self designed and CNC machined from a friend.
Mounted wheels on the car: Sportec Mono 10, 8,5x18 ET35

Here are some photos from the parts of the conversion.
The discs are machined at the centre hole to fit at the S2 Hubs.
The brackets are designed to Fit for the S2 conversion and for the A4 B5 with the disc from the TTRS

              Very nice
Did you also do a R8 rear conversion with brembo handbrake caliper a few years ago?

                R8 Brake conversion

                Thank´s Error
Yes the R8 solution with the Audi Handbrake caliper was built from me.
In the next weeks I will post more from conversions that we have done for the S2 or the Urquattro.

Costs for the RS3 Brake conversion

For the interested people here some information about the price
The complete costs for the RS3 conversion was at 1350€
                  The parts where all new.
The most parts I have bought in Auctions at ebay.de
New Brake calipers with pads: 650€ in ebay
New Brake disc: 300€ in ebay
                  Brackets and disc machining: 300€
Bolts and RS2 Brake Lines: 100€ by the Audi dealer

When you get some used parts you can built it much cheaper then the 1350€

                    Good work

Looks like a similar caliper to the Porsche Monoblocks. Looks like an interesting caliper to use to fit under 17s with something a little smaller in diameter.

Interesting setup. Anyone really push them to see how they get on with heat. Do they warp or stick it ok?
