Caliper's mid way through, they need a quick wet 'n' dry then a good laquering but you get the idea.

And we also have the brackets back from the anodiser's then it is a question of just waiting for the braided lines to land and the wheels!!!
Then it is all systems go...

Had a flash of inspiration this morning as I was laquering the caliper's, I have a wheel of the correct dimensions as the ones I am fitting, didn't think to use it while I was measuring up the brackets etc.
Tried it this morning and I can now confirm that this setup will fit within a 8x17 et40 wheel
all my measurements said it would but it is nice to see it in the flesh

Uhhh like why bother - the RS2 caliper is 40 quid or thereabouts and allows the 996 calipers to bolt onto where G60s used to.

It all depends on what disc's you want to use, anyway don't hijack my thread, start your own!!!
If you want to use the 314 disc (or the 323) use the RS2 brackets, if on the other hand you want something else then it is custom brackets all the way.

                        Porsche Paint/powder

                        Corey,

Did you paint, or did you powder coat. I am at the paint stage on my calipers.

Also, I lifted everything off an RS2, calipers, & brackets. Which size discs BIM that I have S8 18's

By the way guys, S2central.net specifically...996 monos do not fit with RS2 brackets on the UrS4/6 because of the different hub offset.

No one has said they do? Also if the urS4 has the UFO style caliper/ disc then it is another bracket design, also the hub diameter needs machining down to allow it to fit the disc.
The RS2 bracket also won't fit because on the HP2 caliper the bolt hole spacing is different.

Do you have measurements of HP2 caliper ? I mean distance between holes.
