Just spoken to a company up north on 01914103770, mainly deal with performance Jap cars but he could do me a set of DS2500 for stock RS2 for £135 delivered. I have also asked circuit supplies for a price and they should get back to me by the end of the week. Is £135 a fairly competitive price?

Alternatively i can get red stuff pads for £58, but am not sure if these are a) any good b)suitable for drilled disks.

    Any advice welcome

That is a superb price for the DS2500s, go for it. As I said on this thread earlier I have direct experience on my car of EBC Red vs. Ferodo DS2500 on the front discs, and have tracked with both. The Ferodos win my vote by a huge margin. Buy them and enjoy your brakes.

Yes. In road use they're brilliant. Excellent cold, and wet, bite, and they don't need a few brake cycles to get up to temperature (unlike the EBC Reds).
