Newsh has just inpired me to write this post. My rear wiper has not been working for well over a year and I figured it was about time to get it sorted. I have probed around and get no voltage and the motor. I don't get a wash either so I figured I stat with the relay. I bought a new one a few weeks ago but have no idea where the relay is located.
Can anyone tell me where it is?
Many thanks

I had exactly this problem with mine when I got the car, turned out to be the switch contacts in the stalk. Push the switch forwards and then move it up and down, or go to fast on the front wipers and then give it a push. I did this and after a couple of times it started working and it's been fine since.
Its actually under the rear passenger side seat. I replaced mine a couple of weeks ago. Theres space for 3 or 4 replays in there, but mine only had the one.
Brilliant guys, cheers! Forums are wicked for this stuff(especially when you can't get a decent repair manual)
@sidspud, I don't know what bodyshell you have. Is it under the rear seat in the Avant too (guessing you have a Coupe)?
I know that most of the stuff behind the A-pillar is slightly different between Coupe and Avant.
I will start fishing around. No wonder I couldn't find it under the steering column when I looked a few weeks ago! I was starting to tear my hair out.
Thanks again,
Lee
