Autocheck With Radio Frequency Display?!

but so or so i cant have wires from the concert 2 to connect to the autocheck system right?

I am not shure havent tryed it out.

the gamma cd came in audi 80 v6 , i took it off cause when i put cd inside it i figure the generous first owner take off the mechanical system from it , so it was empty cave , but i think the first gamma which is show here the cd have the same system for cd.

Zlobo , do u know some one who sale canbus adapter for a fair price?

That is interesting.

My S2 was fitted with a pioneer stereo by the UK dealer who sold it ans all speakers worked. When I removed that stereo and plugged in a new pioneer, all 4 speakers still worked.

However, when I installed the original Gamma CC, only the fron speakers work

Any ideas why?

the gama have only built amp for the front spekers. and low level out on the red connector. or you need the active speakers that was standard when you had a gamma instaled by facktory.

no joy
tried all parts of auto check and chips..............no joy


is it because the concert 11 radio is in can-bus???....that the info goes to A4 dash....................and my dash isnt conpaterable??

Ah, so does that mean that the red connector leads to an amp somewhere for the rear speakers? I do not seem to have a red connector, so does that mean that I do not have amplified rears and therefore the gamma CC will not work?

If that is the case, do we know which Audi units will run in my car?

Hmm , which one is the concert 11? i bought concert 2 and its in the way to me next monday ill recieve it i hope and i wanna install it in A4 but, ? it also from the story of the canbus and the wolf , so do u think i will find the wires which gets out of it to the autocheck system?

Could some body confirm if it have seperate pins for the rds display , or they get out via the canbus?

communication goes via canbus on those it does on my a3 i tested it.

wich year is youra a4 form if it is 2000 there shuld be canbus i think.. you will se the mini iso connector shuld be there behind the stereo then, Consert II only have amp for front speakers, so you need an amp for the rear, you can buy an mini iso to rca,
if youre A4 dont have can bus the stereo will turn it self of after 1h, if you have you have to disconect the battery, if youre lucky it will work with youre can bus otherwise you have to use vagcom. you can also set some flags via can bus vith vagcom you can turn on bose it will display bose in the display.

On the S2 coupe the amp's are located on the rear speakers. dont kow how it is on avant and sedan.

yes there it wont work. but i think it will if you buy a cheap amp and then by the red connector and mmake a an adapter with rca connectors.. that was my idea.. if i find an original gamma cd player for s2. or els i will stick with the gamma cc and make some line in or somthing.

then you need a can bus adapter for youre skoda stereo,
i am not shure if you will be able but you culd try.

did you know that we could also put audi delta radio from audi cabrio or rs2 to audi s2?
all we need is to change some parts in console (parts is available from audi dealer). Audi delta radio has also cdchanger control and ofcourse RDS function. I was thinking to buy this radio for mine s2 some years ago, but i find out that gamma cd fits better in coupe

This is from a 1994 C4 wiring diagram. Some C4s that came with a Delta radio in the states have half of this wiring in place -- from the instrument cluster to a connector behind the radio. The delta radio does not have a compatible display protocol. At least some 1997 C4s do not have the wiring in place from the instrument cluster.

FWIW. I don't know how this translates to the B4.

i have a '97 C4 with Delta CC head unit i tried also connecto to autocheck with 3 wires data,clock,enabled but it does not show the radio station on Autocheck display.I am not sure if there is a communication error or whatever.
