dash lights have failed

Fuses Still fine! But have dim illumination

Instrument lights are fuse 14 not 4, check that one. I just had a problem with mine it kept blowing when ever I replaced it, the rear ashtray light had come lose and was grounding out on the tunnel.

Fuses: My mistake - typo error - meant to say 14. The 5 amp fuse= fine.

I don't think the fuse is the problem - not one has blown. I appear to have current, albeit in a very reduced manner in the aux gauges, cigarette lighter tray and cigarette lighter itself - but no illumination from behind the main dash lights.

The rear ashtray is all good and my loom does not appear to have any frayed wires.

I don't have one -the only roller switch I have is for adjusting the pitch of the headlamps.

Just been outside - turned the lights on and noticed I have very dim dash lights - right side only (ie Speedo), don't have any lights left side (Rev counter).

The Aux lights are on - again very dim.

I don't understand it - is it possible both the Relays I have are faulty and not able to Boost current?

Just doesn't make sense!

Me say me can't believe it - what a complete nit twit I am!

Have just got back from working the Bank Holiday (Double time £320 quid for 8 hrs work)

Having read the post I dashed outside and tried fiddling with the knob on the cluster and hey freaking presto my dash lights are back. What a wally I am.

Mine on my 94 Coupe have just stopped working tonight on the way home from work........it's p*ssing down outside & pitch black so i'll look in the morning but please god be a blown fuse...............
