I see two different part numbers one for RHD (M suffix) and LHD (N suffix).
Sorry Jamo I don't see what the problem is.

Right time to clear this mess up once and for all.

VAG use the term left hand traffic and right hand traffic.

Left Hand Traffic is Right Hand Drive

      and

Right Hand Traffic is Left Hand Drive

Backwards I know but that is the germans for you.

      For RHD cars you need:

      895 941 029 M
      895 941 030 M

      These retail @ £199.46 + VAT each. That's £468.74 inc VAT for a pair.

I don't know how much second-hand ones are going for but If you can raise enough interest I can work out a group buy price.

If in doubt 'come see your dad'

Valjo was asking about the difference in the price between the stealer and hella. In the lights itself there is no difference, as there is a lever inside the headlight that switches from lhd to rhd.

So, anyone can check the difference between hella prices and audi prices?

the price S2avant posted is 680 eur, which is a mad price, so i guess this is and audi price. there is a seller on the german ebay selling a pair for 430 eur brand new.
        Audi Quattro WR

How bizzarre - you question my authority, and then put up an image proving exactly what I said ??!!

M is the suffix for lights for the UK
N is the suffix for lights on the continent

skull - if you actually look inside the lights, you'll see that when you flip the lever, it is just a screen which flips up to shield off part of the beam. This is for continental driving and has the same effect as putting stickers on the lamp glass. It doesn't re-direct or re-shape the beam..........

With a rhd car the top of the beam pattern switches from \_ to __
With a lhd car the top of the beam pattern switches from _/ to __
            If that makes any sense.

              I nearly forgot about this.

Here are the Ellipsoid headlight Hella part numbers for those interested:
For left hand traffic. (Right hand drive cars)

              1LL 007 140-11 = 895 941 029 M - N/S (Left)
              1LL 007 140-12 = 895 941 030 M - O/S (Right)

Also here's a picture showing the lever to make the beam pattern flat. So you can use your right hand drive car in right hand traffic. It's a small grey lever with "Hella" written on it.
