Bump to an old thread - has anyone got any pics of the fuel line routing and filter location on an ABY? On my CQ and I guess the 3B too, the fuel filter bracket is mounted right under where the ABY battery tray is
Also on the ABY, where are the cables routed to the engine bay?

Since i'm doing a huge amount of refurb work to the underside of my coupe inc some delicate welding and replacing the fuel and brake lines, it seems the perfect time to weld in an ABY battery tray and sort this battery location headache once and for all.

Any help appreciated

Coupe ABY fuel filter is in the same place.
Nearside rear, just forward of the rear wheel under a plastic shield.

I'll leave that for someone else this time. It's 100% there though, I know, I've changed the bügger and got the eyes full of dirt and petrol.

I can't anyway,
1/ It's 11pm,
2/ The car is miles away locked up snug and warm till I know what the fup is happening with my job

I'll check where is is on my CQ, but i'm convinced its right under the rear seat compartment where the battery tray would be on the ABY

I'll get some pics of mine later for comparison if a kindly ABY owner can help?

well heres a couple quick snaps of the CQ filter location - right under the rear bench.... it must be a different set-up on the ABY

As said, it's on the nearside rear, just in front of the rear wheel. Sits above a plastic shield.
The fuel lines come from the filter and cross to the offside over the prop, then run down the car to the front.

This took some bloody digging up, a picture of the underside of an ABY Coupe (yes, it's 100000% an ABY, Rotoryboy Mark's car getting a 3" longlife system)

You are looking from the front down to the rear. See the plastic shield? fuel filter is above that. The battery box from memory, is just behind it. The fuel filter is in the middle of the gap between the nearside rear footwell and the battery box.
