the voltage for charging has to be more than the cell or cells being charged
the voltage you have there should been o.k but i would check with lights ,heater
heated rear window etc then check the voltage again with the engine running @
2500-3000 because the alternator does not charge the battery on idle engine speed

I was told in Adelaide mine was not putting out what it should, when the engine is running i get 13.7-14 volts top, with as much load as possible on this is 12 volts. What is on its way out to cause this, is it just a regulator, or a re-wind/overhaul required.

              I have same problem mate.
Could be regulator, new alternator, bad connection from earth strap to alternator or earth straps to engine or a poorly battery??

Im pondering whether to get a new battery for mine for a kick off!!
