Dipped and Main Together?

Had a trawl through the forum, and as far as I can see my dipped lights on should stay on when I switch over to full beam (mine is a 93 ABY with epsiloids). But mine dont! Just fitted a HID kit, and dont like to keep flicking between main and dipped.

Do I need to do this switch mod that the 3B guys do, or is there somthing else causing this?

I think what your thinking is bend the K pin from the auto check realy

It's nothing to do with the Kpin relay/autocheck.

If you've got ellipsoids fitted to a 1993 car, then they weren't there from the factory.
You'll need to do the wiring mod.
Search for Fat Audi 80's post on exactly the same issue.

Hi Waad, Mine was a change over car (Early ABY) but still came with 5 spoke alloys and non elipsoid headlamps. You should be fine once you have done that mod....
