My constant power to ecu is shorting and blowing my 5amp fuse. I was wondering how to properly test for the short. Seems tough. Fuse doesn’t blow when the ecu is disconnected fyi.
There’s a diode in the ECU which goes short and takes out the fuse, usually happens if the car is started with a jumper pack or has welding done without removing the ECU. Do a search and you will find details of the fix, it’s pretty common.
