I also had to copy & draw the A6 opening indications of the sunroof on the S2 one

After connecting al the wires, installing the new motor unit and cutting some obstacles out of the modified S2 sunroof plate I lost one hanger that clicks into the roof, so the plate sticks in there.

I have to find a solution to fix this and not use a paper-clip mod anymore

and another view. The rotary wheel is hitting the metal ceiling and the light unit is hitting the new motor control unit, so they are pushed downwards, while the roof itself should pull the panel up with the paperclip. As you can see finishing the panel nicely on the roof will take some more effort, which I will try next weekend again.

I am not completely satisfied with the way I removed the rotary wheel from the A6 panel, because it got damaged badly. Therefore the work can be done much nicer by somebody else seeing all the things and mods I had to find out myself.

Anyway I am happy with the operational rotary wheel in my S2 Avant now!

Good to see you got it working Bram. Why not just order the correct console and eliminate the problems you mention? They're not that expensive as I recall.

This is what I will do when I eventually get round to installing mine.

As far as I know they are not for sale anymore at the stealer , but please let me know if you know where to get an original S2 console with sunroof motor and panel. That was the reason for this mod

They were available when I asked for a quote earlier this year, not sure if they have been deleted since then. I'll keep an eye out for you.
