I'd really like to fit some of those clear or even blue, side repeaters. Can anyone point me at a source online where I could buy them so I can fit them at the weekend meet? I've seen loads but how do you know they will fit? Or is it a Halfords job?

same fitment as the MKII golf so most larger Halfords do keep them in stock.
Personally I'd avoid buying from the net if you can't see them first. There are alot of companies selling them and with lots of minor variations - some chrome inside - some with clear lenses some with ribbed lenses (so you don't see the orange bulb)......
Stick to Halfords - they're cheap too ..... think they're made by 'Auto Art' ....white plastic & ribbed lenses .....tasteful!Comment

I agree with Alistair, that it's great to see them before you buy
Got some blue ones from Halfords a couple of years ago, when I ripped one off the 2.3 coupe as I cleaned it, turned out they were hella ones and cheaper for 2 than 1 orange one from the stealers:eek2: :eek2:
The ones I linked too are OK, silver inside with clear plastic, though it didn't matter about seeing the orange bulb as they were red.2001 Avus Silver B5 RS4.
