Driver's side front fog light not working.

I replaced both my front foglight units earlier today. Before, they were...

Drivers side: Smashed lens and not working.
Passenger side: Some water in lens but still worked.

After replacing them, I've now got....

Drivers side: Still not working.
Passenger side: Fine.

I'm about to go out and buy a new pair of bulbs for them and see if thats the problem and I've been unlucky to have 2 bulbs in the same unit that are duff.

If this still doesn't work, what could the problem be? I'm an absolute noob with electrics so please be gentle

Sure fire way of testing wiring for foglites.

You say you have one working....use jump wires to connect working harness of one to fog lite that is not working. If the foglite works, than it is not your lite but the wiring to it.
If it still not lites up, take good unit and connect it to the wiring in question. If it lites up it is not wiring but fog lite unit. Process of elimination works every time.

Cheers fella, I'll have a crack at that, didn't get the chance to buy new bulbs today anyway. Went and bought a TV instead!
