I have a broken passenger side fog light as well I agree with you Dean - they do look better with the fogs but I do have plans for the vents. And I refuse to pay lots of money to replace the fogs everytme they smash. That is why I wanted to see all three scoops.

I was just about to ask whether that was possible. I have H4 dipped beam and H1 main beam. I already have an H4 HID kit. Is it just another straight forward H1 HID kit that I would need to get HID high beam or do I need something different?

Doesn't HID high beam give problems delaying when flashing your lights ?

Yeah - you just flash your igniters instead...

Not sure I'd bother with HIDs on the mains for that reason. Its a much better light pattern than the crappy dips (even on ellipsoidals), but the colour difference is annoying so I'll have to cough for the xenon lookalike H1s for mains sometime.

Was being followed by a HID equipped TT the other day when he switched his light on. Never seen this on a HID car before, it looked really strange! You can see the igniters working, it's a bit like seeing a flourescent strip light being switched on

Straight forward, Plug 'n play Just remember that flashing(multiple times) with HID's is not recommended.

I get that. Its like a bright flash, then a blue light that gradually brightens into the white light. I think its quite cool looking.

I think I'll stay away from main beam HIDs for the moment. Summer is just around the corner. It doesn't get dark until 11pm in Scotland and its light at 4am!
