I thought AMP was Amphenol but that just gets confusing... Anyway - this global search has led me to Finland - land of strange drinks, home to some reindeers, a few big scarey Audis and this website -

    http://www.mksautobusiness.fi/page_e...onnectors.html

Which sells something like this in male/female format --->

I think UrS4boy owes me a beer now

    I'm gonna buy some !

FWIW, Amphenol/AMP are now part of the Tyco group.

Yes - a search at Tyco for 'timer connectors' finds some things of interest.

Meanwhile - a US site that looks like it has potential - listing MALE versions in 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and more pin choices. I'll follow up with them on a quote.

                That'll be 4A0 906 234

I've started a bit of cross reference on these now. Extremely sad I know, but it should be a condensed activity that should make it a lot easier for us to source replacements for these things from numerous sources. I'll post up a separate sticky on it when I'm ready.

I've started to make myself acquainted with the new found 'EL' pages on the family album - god its boring as hell slogging through that but shouldn't take too long to get out of it what we need here - at least for the S2/RS2 owner.

Prices in from Finland on these rare MALE bits...

Awaiting prices from a Bosch agent as well.

I can't find a source of 6-pin MALE so far.

Some great info there Paul. Jeez!
Did you find any info on your search about the motorsport banjo type connectors that Audi sport uses? Likely be bosch.
                    Keep up the good work.

@Jeffer - if they are anywhere - they should be in here...

                      http://aa.bosch.cz/download/katalog/...-konektoru.pdf

Something in there must be compatible with Bosch Motorsport ECUs - assuming thats what Audi Sport use or used.

Try the ampnehol catalog - I think I've seen something similar there - looks more like a hi-tech spec for avionics usage - The MOTEC ECUs use such a thing too apparently - not sure if exact same as this one you are looking for.
