I went through my loom last night labeling everything and getting it ready for the swap, this guide made it quick and easy. Paul, I'll forward you the ABY loom part number tonight. -
New version available now - link is the same - http://www.s2central.net/S2_Schematics/ABY_Wiring.pdf
Includes detailed ECU pinout, some info about the various incarnations of looms across ABY and ADU - LHD and RHD. Also explains the OBD connector oddness, and I have elaborated with pinouts on the other connectors in the fusebox and auxiliary panels.Leave a comment:

Found a couple of OBD funnies across the yrs on ABY / ADU schematics - its IMMO related - explains why there is three ABY loom versions for LHD and another three for RHD. Will catch this in a revised version this week. Its minor stuff, but its only when you have an intensive study on this stuff that you spot the anomolies - ask me in a week and I'll have forgotten.Leave a comment:

Further to some feedback - here's a revised version of the primer document - http://www.s2central.net/S2_Schemati...tic_Primer.pdf
I elaborated further on track numbers and how they are linked... Also reverse engineered how the various multicoloured connectors in the auxiliary panel map to the wiring diagrams... That then discovered a little correction I need to make on which cruise control schematics are correct for the S2/RS2. But I digress...

That is nothing short of MAGNIFICENT! There are obviously a LOT of hours in that.
Lovely work Paul.

Not 100% sure on that one - its not specific to ABY loom - pretty sure it is the blue wire coming from the alternator (only presents ~14V when engine is running) - Track 7 on that schematic sheet C50 - goes to T10a - which will be the yellow multipin block in the auxiliary wiring panel. I'll add this to the docs - thanks for spotting it.Leave a comment:

So another quick question, I received this with my wiring harness, but have absolutely no idea what it is for or where it would go.
Simple blue wire with spade connectors on both sides, however it also has the "under hood" style wire cover

paul i just finished going through it, this is fabulous! you just took all the guessing work out of my project! only suggestion i could think of is moving the secondary engine wiring harness to be with the rest of the "under hood" stuff and put the interior stuff last... Amazing work!!!Leave a comment:

Got it down to 6MB in PDF format - available here - http://www.s2central.net/S2_Schematics/ABY_Wiring.pdf
I'll integrate it into the schematic pages on my site soon - but there's the raw data... I'm rather pleased with it as this didn't exist 36hrs ago - but it has taken most of that time to compile it.
Let me know any comments or suggestions please !Leave a comment:

Well I was working at this into the small hours last night... I've decided to make the information a lot more modular. Here is the first section pretty much complete - it serves as a primer to navigating your way round the schematics & understanding where everything is.
The ABY loom info is going to take me another night - should be worth the wait.
Then I'll do all the fitment locations.
Followed by soup to nuts on fuses & relays in due course.
ALL of this info will wind up on S2central.net - so think of this as a sneak preview.
Comments / Suggestions greatly received.
