No light in speedo and aux gauges!!!

    Hi all!

Today, I'm going to rally Costa Brava, and the car stopped the speedo and aux gauges lights!

I checked all the fuses that there are in the motor but I can't found any fuse burned out.

    Anybody can help me?

    Thanks in advance!!!

On your speedo cluster there is 4 black knobs,
You need to turn the one that is furthest to the left.

Check fuse 14, I think is the one.

Also check the connectors behind the gauges. There is one behind there that controls the dash and aux gauges lights.

Yes, there is a booster, if this fails, or is faulty, the dash lights go out..... It can be by-passed though, but this would be where I would be looking after the dimmer knob...

I checked the dimmer knob on the speedo cluster and it's OK! He have between 0 and 0'5 ohms. I think that there are any fuse or similar, but I can't find it.

Fuse 14 is the one that repeatedly blew in my car. I eventually traced the issue to the glove compartment light switch that had failed shorting live to earth.

My fuse #14 was blown, but I'd like to know what else that is connected to that fuse, is the radio-harness connected there?

See these Fuse. Probe cigarrette (?) plug, it must have 12v.
But sometimes the problem is the potentiometer, the light dimmer knob potentiometer will be broken.
