Windy wipers / windscreen aero wipers

No problem, the arm and blade 'combo' seems to be a RHD only affair?? the LHD 's dont come arm and blade!!

So I reckon you'll need:

2x left hand side LHD Lupo GTi arms = 6X1 955 409C
1x left hand LHD Lupo Gti aero blade = 6X1 955 425F
1x right hand side LHD Passat aero blade = 3B1 955 425
2x Lupo arm nut covers = 1J0 955 205A 01C
2x S2 wiper arm nuts = N 011 00830

PROVIDING YOU HAVE AN AVANT!!!

I'm pretty sure this is an exact replica of what we've done here, but in LHD version.

I must give a word of caution though Porkkis... What I have done is for a RHD Avant, the RHD Coupes have a different windscreen AND longer BLADES!!! IE, Avant blades are 530mm long, Coupe blades are 550mm long.

For all the Coupe owners out there, you had better consider using Passat blades BOTH sides!!

You can use right hand ones, the only real difference is theysit about an inch higher up the screen. See if you can see a Lupo GTi over there and a Passat at the same time at a VW dealer, you;ll see what I mean.

This is using the bigger Passat blades for the Coupes larger screen.

:-) knew you couldn't resist!! Should be ok for the weekend as long as they are readily available! I had to wait 6 weeks!! I believe they are available now. Cheer Doug!

I ment that if you RHD guys use the left side arm, we LHD drivers should use the right hand side. Isn't this so? Your left is our right
I suppose the lupo drivers side arm is the one that brings the blades up a bit so...

You've got it!! you can use either of the Lupo arms! if you use two Lupo left arms, they will sit low on the screen, two rights, they'll sit higher on the screen.

BUT what you say about our right is your left.... that is probably true!! so you would need right arms to sit low, left arms to sit high. Damn this is confusing!! I think the best way is to find a LHD Lupo Gti and see which side arm sit the higher of the two!!
