    Knock sensors torque

    a fast question....

does someone know the correct torque to do in both knock sensors??

i beliebe that it is 22nm...but i am not 100% sure, and dont know too if it is better gives them more or less torque than 22nm

i am changing both sensors for a new ones for keep future problems with them

looser is more sensitive, tighter is less.

fit it. start engine and hit it with a spanner gently. you should hear the engine note change as it thinks its knock.

Spanner is the tool, gently is the way you hit it (like softly)

Hi . 20Nm is the right torque, I used 25Nm once , got a lot of knocking before the ecu stepped in ... even with OMV carrera 100 fuel.
