    Only starts once

My car is playing up...any ideas?

I can run her once but then if i turn her off she wont start again for about an hour.

She turns over but does not fire.

does this sound like a 'car' fault or a toad alarm fault

    Thanks

    Nic

vag.com the car and see what codes it come up with ..save messing about with trial and error , this should be logged as a fault on ECU

Agreed on hall sensor... the LED test is best way to check for sure - across pin 2 and earth... should see it pulse every other crank rotation. Without that signal the ECU never generates a spark - it will turn over on the starter until battery is flat.
