    Why does my clock stop?

I can set the dash clock right but overnight it stops, or loses time, not sure exactly, also If I push lightly on the time set adjuster the numbers change brightness?

Dodgy contacts, broken tracks...you name it. You'll need to get a look at it to truly sus it.

Mine does this, its a dash issue, same asmy intermittant speedo. Take dash out, get someone who knows electronics to take a look andclaen it up, my 100, 90, 80 and now the S2 have all had some sort of dash fault.

I'malmost certain I have a clock module kicking about, though god knows where. If I find it Andyg, its yours.

Found it in my bits box along with an inclinometer from some car I've never owned.

Theres two feed pins from the dash, both of them on this one are dry jointed and loose so I'll rework them and clean it up. I'll put money on that being the case both the faulty clocks in this thread. AndyG has first dibs if not its there for the taking.

                  Fixed!

Took the clocks apart last night and cleaned the little pins that connect the rev counter to the circuit board, the voltage for the clock appears to connect via 2 of these and there was a tiny patch of corrosion on one of them, 24 hrs later and its keeping time . The flickering backlight was a separate issue, a dodgy bulb and I broke another one swapping it over so the speedo and fuel gauge are now dark..
Just have to wait for a pack of 10 new cluster bulbs to arrive from Autobulbsdirect as I think I'll change them all for new ones.
