    WOT issue..

    hy.
my car have strange issue on WOT.well if I roll on 80km/h in 4 gear, and than kick gas pedal to WOT, then engine start to sneeze , in one second , and than in other second all ok , than again..
if I get to 6500rpm but not on WOT , slowly on 0.5bar , than all is ok..
    so only when is WOT.
    there is no fault code
    on wot AFR is 12.10-12.30.

    what can cause that problem?

    regards

friend you have to install again your old single coil and problem solved

now in serious, check everything relationated with ignition parts like sparks plugs, wiires, coils, battery and hall sensor.

it seems for me like ignition problems or small boost leak???

if your boost is fine, wastegate should be well...

Check there's no moisture around the plugs etc (Under the cover) and attempt to dry it out 'totally' if it is. The moisture turns to steam and 'tracks' the coilpack spark to earth at WOT (or worse, if lots of moisture)...

Quick question, have you been driving fast into heavy rain lately or had high condensation? (Cold damp nights, warm days and car having short runs) because this can set ours off.

well that could be a problem, before few weeks I wash my engine. but than everything was fine , well I didn't try it at WOT until today.. but before 5 days I have coils outside and everything under cover was dry.. I'm sure 100% that coils was dry..

I will lose my mind with that car, now when 90% parts are ready for engine tuning , now they have some stupid problem...

I know that is nothing serious , but give me headache..

It could be from the washing, its not good to wash 3Bs, if you're running a dizzy you can bend rods.

If you have an AAN head and ignition system, then you have to go through AAN missing and hesitation diagnostics to determine whether your problem is the coil to sparkplug boots, the spark plugs, the POSs (a dieing channel) and/or the coils (often a weak one). Here are some hints to do this:

I have had this problem and (eventually) found small splits in a couple of vacuum hoses. It was an intermittent problem for me but was becoming more and more frequent however. Since changing the vac hoses it hasn't happened again, so fingers crossed it's sorted.

I know you've said you have checked for air leaks, but thought it might be worth double checking..

vacuum hoses are brand new (few month old) and I check them one more time.

I think it's an electrical problem.. must find where they are..

maf is clean , and conections on maf are clean.. check it before few minutes.

how much time or kilometers have to be in interval of changing the fuel filter?
is some aftermarket good or I have to buy "Audi OEM" fuel filter ?

                            thanks
