Battery Flat

Just been away for about 10 days and come back and the coupe battery is completely flat (it was a brand new battery a few weeks ago). I'm pretty sure something is staying on when I switch off the ignition and take out the key but not sure how. The related issue is that before I went away I noticed that the elapsed time was running with the ignition off, for example it would read 2 hrs one night and then the next day would read 16 hrs.

So whats going on? Could it be the ignition switch going wrong and not switching off properly?

Maybe pull the relay that controls the after run pump and see if the drain remains?

Also in my coupe the cd changer was draining the battery if left parked up.

Same thing is happening to mine. I was going to do the ol' pull fuse elimination game to find the draw. I do have a cd changer too so thats where I am going to start.

No radio in the car at the mo and the clue for me must be in the trip computer elapsed time running all night,, hopefully will have time to have a poke about today.

Just checked with an ammeter, had a 250mA drain but after shutting the doors and locking the car this goes down to less than 5mA which I would guess is the clock Wonder what's going on?
