hmm. interesting. The only battery drains i had had in the past was when heading home for 2 weeks and the car was left outdoors in the winter. I considered that acceptable, so i ended up using a charger when i got back home.

Ah the dangers of believing an internet "search". If everybody's current draw was 0.1 amp no-one would get out of the airport carpark after their 2 week holiday

when the battery was new and full, i could leave it for one month with no issues......I don't know.... Any ideas?
Alarm: 0.01
Radio: I will know tomorrow
What else could it be? Fan is not kicking in, after run pump is not working all the time.
Can someone measure any RS2? Or maybe ABY?Go Holset or Go RS4Comment

OK, I noticed today that my multimeter is maybe not the best around:
does this reading seems correct?
However when I set the meter at the 10A scala and measure I see 0.1A. I then removed fuse Nr4 and it shows 0.01A.
Very nice!!! This Fure is for the following:
Reading lights, clock, trunk light, cig.-lighter, dome light, trip-computer, make-up mirror, anti-theft, ckeck system, air-condition, radio, illumination AG4 selector switch.
As far as I can tell the lights are all off. I know how/where to measure the radio.
How can i check the "Anti-theft", Air condition, AG4?, check system?Go Holset or Go RS4Comment

Further check revealed the following: The Radio system has 2 current supplies one for when it is on and one constant for memory ect.
With the Radio off and the front panel removed (anti theft) it draws 0.06 from the constant supply and 0.02 from the supply for when it is on.
Any ideas there? Is there a solution except changing it out?Go Holset or Go RS4Comment

Your multimeter is fine but from the photos what I think you are missing is that for all readings other than the 10amp current scale you need to move the red lead on the multimeter to the centre socket - the same place you have to put it for voltage readings.
This will give you much more accurate readings of what you real current draw is on the 200mA scale but also be very careful to make sure you've got no interior lights etc. on as taking much more than 200mA (0.2A) of current through the meter will blow its internal fuse.

Hi, didn't think of that, thanks!
I have made all the measurements in the 10A position to be able and compare them. the result is what I have written above with the radio drawing 0.08A all the time..... but I don't think there is something to do about it except change it. Or is it?Go Holset or Go RS4Comment

The radio drawing 80mA is a problem. The radio will have a switched +12volt supply and a permanent +12volt supply. If you moved the permanent one and joined it to the switched one then of course the radio would use no current when the ignition key was out but it could loose some or all of its settings - depends on the radio. Got to be worth a try and see what happens.

this is how it connects: Yellow is permanent and draws 0.06A and red is switched and draws 0.02A.
Now with ign off it has 12V and draws 0.02. Maybe the previews owner connected switched and permanent supply together so that the radio works all the time.Attached FilesGo Holset or Go RS4Comment

I removed the connector today and found out that there is only one cable (red/blue IIRC) with 12Volt permanent and they split it in two providing current to the switched 12V and the permanent 12V. I could not find a cable with switched 12 volt there.
Can it be that from the factory there was no switched 12V?Go Holset or Go RS4Comment

You need to find a thin wire on the back of the ign switch, it only goes off when you remove the key.Comment
