"HID" Fog Lamps

I've just fitted these PIAA Plasma bulbs in my front fog lamps to try & get a closer match to the HID headlamps. It's not a perfect match but a lot better than the stock "yellow" I think.

ah cool! so iv'e you would fit the plasma piaa in de dipped beam's instead of the xenon is would be less light than the xenon!

and have you got the vagparts 6500K set in youre rs??

Yes the HID kit came from VAGParts.

I guess you could fit some H1 Plasma bulbs in the main beam. I don't think I'll bother though as I hardly ever use it.

Cheers Sal. Yes they're available in the UK but they're non E-marked. I got them on eBay because they're about £20 dearer in Demon Tweeks.

They're a pretty decent match. Might do this myself. Need new flog light lenses as well for me I think as mine are pretty gungy. Anyone know how much they cost from GSF?

I think the light output would always be better with a genuine HID kit plus these Plasma bulbs are technically illegal for road use.

According to PIAA they have a "special gas mix and tube colour"
